HOUSE MANAGER NEEDED // WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA

JOB DESCRIPTION

This home is the primary residence to our President. When residents are home, the house manager will be on call 24/7. When the residents are away on travel, it is the responsibility of the house manager to maintain the home, but this will be on a more flexible, part-time basis. We are looking for someone who is proactive, organized, and poised. They will need to be comfortable with getting their hands dirty behind the scenes when dealing with issues of house maintenance, but they must also present themselves in a professional and eloquent manner when interacting with house guests. A can-do attitude is a must!

SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

House

• Hiring, training, and ongoing management of staff (chefs and housekeepers) required to meet the service standard

• Vetting payroll and expenses relating to the house

• Greeting and hosting all house guests for PT during meetings at the house

• Maintaining house inventory (e.g. cleaning supplies, electronics, office supplies, toiletries, business cards, books, linens)

• House maintenance and scheduling monthly/quarterly/annual maintenance appointments

• Screening and overseeing outside vendors, contractors, construction projects

• Coordinating guest overnight visits (setting up their guest rooms, verifying snack requests, laundry, etc.)

• Coordinating with other team members regarding house schedule/guests/events

• Informing/communicating with Event Planner for large-scale events at the house

• Actively checking PT calendar/schedule and sharing time-sensitive information with PT team

• Maintaining household security (e.g. alarm systems, newspapers, mail)

• Responding to all resident requests

• Facilitating cost effectiveness for the house (e.g. internet and cable rates/packages)

• Working with housekeepers and be their main point of contact in daily communication

• Addressing all housekeeper requests, needs, and concerns Chefs

• Facilitating scheduling and travel coordination

• Leading regular meetings to go over progress, improvement, and strategy

• Being the first point of contact to handle all requests, needs and concerns

COMPENSATION

This is a full-time position offering $110+, including comprehensive health, dental and vision care, 401(k) matching, cell phone service, and other potential benefits.
