Active family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children, ages 9 and 12) has an immediate need for an experienced nanny to join their household team. Candidate should possess highest levels of emotional intelligence, reliability, flexibility; be warm, loving, accountable, and extremely organized.
Primary Responsibilities: -Driving children to activities, to/from school etc. (vehicle provided for family related errands/driving) -Assist family and Estate Manager with errands, grocery shopping and inventory. -Assist with managing complicated children and family schedules (iCal) -Homework assistance and general daily supervision -Children’s laundry and closet organization. -Light cooking for family including the preparation of protein shakes, ordering school lunches for children.
-Light Housekeeping (i.e., dinner dishes, evening turn downs).
-Occasional overnight childcare (sleepovers, special events etc). -Occasional travel required; Family enjoys traveling during the summer and during school breaks
Requirements:
-Excellent references from current and previous employer(s) -Minimum of 2 years related experience working as a nanny with a family -Flexible schedule required - willingness to work extra hours (as needed). -Exceptional organizational skills and technologically capable (Task Management software, Gmail, Calendars, Computers, iPads, etc.). -Physically able to keep up with active children -Knowledge of general first aid and CPR certification -Legally eligible to work in the United States -Able to pass in-depth background check -MUST have a clean (spotless) driving record! -Must be able to speak English fluently -Non-smoking only! -Must be able to make a long-term commitment -Must be kind, discreet and able to follow directions!
-No task TOO BIG or too small mentality.
We are seeking a TEAM PLAYER who is kind and works well with others. Automobile is provided for all family related errands and activities. Local candidates with experience driving in LA County (Palisades, Malibu, Los Angeles) are strongly preferred.
Located in Pacific Palisades, this family is very active - candidates should be physically fit and health-conscious. Non-smokers only please. *Monday-Friday Schedule could be 12:00pm – 9:00pm (these hours may fluctuate). *Occasional overnights and weekends – flexible schedule is required
Salary: $25-35/h DOE
