Family of 5 in Boston, Mass – seeking a live-in family assistant who can help with light tidying up and cooking, dog walking!
We are looking for a kind, responsible, energetic, organized, joyful and adult presence to assist our very busy family of five in our day to day operations. Strong common sense, a willingness to do whatever is needed with a good attitude, and a desire to keep an organized house are all a must. The role includes but is not limited to driving children to school and activities, making healthy dinners, running family errands, walking the dog and organizing the house. (There is other cleaning help.)
You must have full flexibility Monday at 6 am through Friday at 7 pm. Most working days average 10-12 active hours though sometimes you are the sole adult in the house overnight.
This position requires someone who is nurturing, loving, reliable, trustworthy, professional, college-educated and fluent in English. Additional languages are a plus.
Other notes:
- Willingness to move to the north shore in the summer to the family vacation home.
- Someone who appreciates and promotes an active healthy lifestyle is a plus.
- Must have a comfort with dogs.
Five (5) weeks of paid vacation: two weeks at Christmas, plus three weeks in the Summer fully paid (based on kids school and camp calendars), in addition to one more week to be scheduled at a mutually convenient time in August. There is also typically one week in the Spring with only dog care (at your home or the family’s for Easter)
Salary 40-45k/yr
$100/month reimbursed for health care
Candidate must have a valid driver's license & good driving record. Your own car is a plus.
