CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER NEEDED // LOS ANGELES, CA
Great opportunity for a CFO with an established high end construction company in Los Angeles. As the CFO you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, developing process and procedures, month-end close, supervising and mentoring team of 10, managing the financial audit, and more. This role will serve as a key member of the leadership team with responsibility for all aspects of the accounting operations and financial strategy.
CFO Responsibilities:
•Manage day to day accounting and financial close process
•Analyze and present financial statements in an accurate and timely manner
•Lead budgeting and planning process
•Supervise, develop and maximize the performance of an accounting team of 10
•Manage treasury, banking and cash management
•Lead financial audit process
•Improve technical accounting policies and procedures
•Design, implement and manage financial controls and compliance environment
•Oversee A/P, A/R, fixed assets, cash applications, payroll and collections
•Additional duties as assigned
CFO Qualifications:
•Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
•Construction industry experience required
•Experience with percentage of completion accounting method required
•5+ years of progressive accounting career experience
•3+ years supervisory experience developing and mentoring a team, fostering collaboration, and creativity
•CPA or MBA preferred
•Combination of public accounting and industry experience
•Strong communication & presentation skills
•A track record of close partnership with senior leaders
•ComputerEase construction accounting software experience preferred
Pay: $130-140,000K/year + Benefits
Schedule: Monday - Friday
