DATA SCIENTIST NEEDED // ORANGE COUNTY, CA

Automobile company is looking for a Data Scientist with 6+ years of product development and data science. Office is located in the O.C area.

Responsibilities:

· Develop, evaluate, refine, and automate analytic models using data to address business needs, and identify areas of optimization and growth

· Participate in technical design, project planning and lead development of critical projects

· Design, conduct and lead complex analyses that mine, extract, track, report and analyze performance metrics

· Demonstrate best practices by delivering high quality results to business

· The Data Scientist will lead data science projects aimed to improve conversion, traffic, and revenue as well as maintain and optimize existing traffic forecast models for the business

· Create and produce forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc.

Requirements:

· Strong forecasting / data modeling / statistical analysis / predictive modeling experience required (R and/or Python)

· Excellent presentation and communication skills (PowerPoint)

· Strong analytical capabilities to translate business problems into data science problems and implemented solutions

· Strong analytical and data mining skills

· Strong communicator - able to advocate data informed decision-making at all levels using visuals and narrative documents

· Master’s in Computer Science, Mathematics, Neuroscience, Computational Biology, Econometrics

· Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check

Salary: 125-200K DOE + Benefits
