Personal Assistant / House Manager

20-40 hours per week as a contractor

Location: Residence in La Costa, Carlsbad

Benefits: Can complete some of the work remotely. Hours are flexible.

Pay: $25-35/h

Job Description:

We are looking for a versatile and highly-organized personal assistant to perform personal and business duties for a successful female business owner of a digital marketing company. Our company is growing at an outstanding rate and we need someone to help assist the business owner with tasks so that she can focus on growing the business. This is a unique time to get in one the ground floor, learn skills you can apply to your future career, and work your way up.

Example Tasks:

  • Filter through emails

  • Respond to emails

  • Prioritize a task list and delegate tasks for CEO

  • Help with daily time management

  • Communicate with other employees/contractors

  • Organize business and personal calendar

  • Schedule meetings and personal appointments

  • Work with interior designers and contractors

  • Help find other staff such as housekeepers, nannies, gardener, handyman/handywoman, etc.

  • Help organize rooms

  • Pay bills and invoices

  • Run errands

  • Administrative support

  • Household chores

Preferred Qualifications or Skills:

  • 1-2 years of experience as an assistant

  • Strong English and grammar skills

  • Tech-savvy (Experience with the following would be a plus: Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Asana or any Project Management System, QuickBooks)

  • Strong time-management and organization skills

  • High school diploma, higher education or college is a plus
