A private family living in Beverly Hills is seeking an experienced private chef to work full-time providing meal preparation and shopping for them. The chef’s schedule should be Monday through Friday preparing lunch and dinner including additional time for shopping and cleaning up. This family have no food restrictions but love to host dinner parties so being able to come up with recipes that are new and exciting for them and having Japanese background is a necessity. The chef will be the point person for all food related stocking, purchasing, and planning for the residence. This person will be required to prepare, provide, and serve lunch and dinner daily for the family and friends, provide staple snacks, and have something prepared for the next day's breakfast. The chef will manage all aspects of the kitchen, be able to set a table, and know when to step away and let the family be together, then step-in when needed. The ideal candidate has exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills, exerts strong leadership skills, and has a calm and collected attitude. The family is a very calm, quiet, and low key family and would like to find someone that fits into their home. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience and will understand the level of service that is required. The salary range offered is $150,000 to $175,000 per year and the rate will reflect the experience and skill-set of the hired candidate.
