PROJECT TECHNICAL DESIGNER NEEDED // LOS ANGELES, CA

The clothes are just an alibi for the reminder message that we are each golden, connected as one golden thread to nature. Founded in 2016, this fast passed entrepreneurial business has incredible momentum. As we propel to our next growth phase we are on the search for a highly organized and production oriented technical designer to evaluate and put in place best in class processes.

*The role is on a contract basis and is part-time in the LA based facilities.


Project scope and deliverables:

  • Evaluate garments to determine compliance of specs, construction and fit intent.

  • Produce and or edit accurate tech packs for use of US and overseas production.

  • Compile written documentation of current raw material components ( BOMs) to be communicated with factories

  • Track, manage and document workflow and gather patterns for 5 existing products.

  • Collaborate with Founder and lead designer to communicate the workflow transition of minimum 2 new product styles from design concept through grading ,to a final, production ready prototype with pre production directions.

  • Produce product calendar for new styles to ensure product is delivered on time.

  • Suggest requirements of process needs/style thru entire FIT process.

  • Organize materials for systematic use within the LA manufacturer.

  • Measure products on body to clearly demonstrate fit for Website to help online consumers find their fit.


Ideal candidate must have:

  • Proven organizational strength, cross cultural communication skills, and a strong desire to follow garment creation from beginning to end.

  • Ability to create detailed Tech Packs and sketches using Adobe or similar.

  • Deep understanding of materials and garment specifications

  • Effective oral and written skills domestic and overseas/vendors.

  • Previous technical design experience of Cut and sew with knits and or Sportswear /casual.

  • Bonus to have worked with garment dye process.
